Wills Friend Girls 1st Birthday!

Ok so maybe one day they will be boyfirend/girlfriend haha but for now We will call Miss Adeln Wills friend girl lol! any how her first birthday was the weekend before last and we had so much fun celebrating. Adelyn is the daughter of Charlie and Jessica (The Bagwells under the blogs I'm following) they are very good friends of ours and Jess and I were preggo together ( hmm I guess that is a duh huh?) Anyways I loved celebrating her birthday bc a-it got me excited for Wills and b-it made me smile knowing that Will has so many little friends his age which is going to be such a blessing as he gets older! Her is a little somethint I threw together from the pics I took!

We took advantage of the gorgeous days in the last few weeks and I got some ten months shots (yeah i know it should be the 10 months 2 1/2 weeks shots but i get so many pics that i dont always remember to pull out the sticker!) Anyways I was very pleased except my favortie pic just so happens to have a box in the background that i hadnt taken down to the street yet UGH I normally see those things and move them prior to clicking the camera but since this was an impromptu shoot i guess i wasnt thinking about it! Oh well enjoy anyways!

Hmmmm....

Ok so I know I posted yesterday but before that it feels like forever since I have posted anything! So many crazy things have been going on around the house. Obviously the bathroom renovation is a big thing going on right now. We have also had lots of Wills friends and family 1st birthdays to attend. We actually have another one tomm for his friend (our neighbors) Jaxson! Then in less than a month now we will be having Wills First Birthday!!! I cannot believe mylittle man is almost one. He is growing much to fast but I love every minute. We are actually going through some seperation anxiety issues right now. It is sooo crazy how fast they change I know this is normal for this age but he gets sooooo upset when either me or Joey put him down when people are around and if anyone else even thinks about holding him that is all he wrote he starts crying and reaching for us. I will admit it was nice the first time or two (it makes you feel warm and fuzzy ) but then it just makes you feel bad so overall...not fun! He is still a daddys boy. Which I love dont get me wrong Joey is such an amazing dad that I just love seeing Wills eyes light up and he crawls with a quickness to the front door yelling dadada as soon as the dogs bark but it sure makes me feel like chopped liver bc ma-ma goes out the window lol! Other than the minor social issues Will is doing great he loves bath time. He is always talking saying da-da ma-ma and dog we think :) He stands up but he is still al little to wobbly to stand at this point. He waves and claps and giggles till he is in hysterics which usually puts us in hysterics. We turned him around forward facing this week. I know I know he isnt exactly one but he is 22 lbs and its only 3 weeks and well I knew we would never make it to the 2 year mark I mean that is just torture in my opinion heck we didnt even sit in carseats when we were younger and we are fine! and I must say that he absolutely LOVES it and so do I, I can see him and reach him and feed him (atleast give him a bottle if he gets fussy which hasnt happened near as much facing forward). I think that is all that is new OH he is fianlly sleeping longer thanks to daylight savings time! We have a baby free bed till about 630! To add to the craziness I have been "crafting" here and there and I have made bunches of cute stuff. My friends Sandra and me have made lits of burp cloths and loveys. I have made some frames and I even made bloomers and a bib yesterday. I need to post pics but I just havent. Speaking of pics since posting baby Graysons pics I have gotten so many requests to take pics for friends. I feel so honored and blessed to be getting their business ( or that they would even think of me for that matter) so I plan on being really busy in the future! That should mean lots of posts on the photo blog (boussonphotography.blogspot.com) so check it out and tell your friends! I think that is about it for now and sorry no pics I am at work without my laptop which means i dont have any og the good recent pics! I will be sure to update with a picture post soon!

Its Official!!!!

Ok so I can officially announce.....
Operation Bathroom Renovation is officially underway...AGAIN! A little background is this. I started the demo which Joey and his friends quickly finished but as far as installing new stuff well that wasnt exactly getting done. so our wonderful friend/neighbor had one of his buddies come over and give us an estimate to finish it and well the price was right and to my suprise they started TODAY! Yeah so what i thought would never get done, especially not in time for little mans first birthday is off to a great start! I am so excited words cannot even describe it! so pics to come as they progress PROMISE. I think we are gonna go for a spa inspired room with a full tile walk in shower with the bushed bronze nickel hardware maybe with an accent strip of darker travertine tiles. Then I think we might use a muted green paint and find a bowl sink vanity (possibly Joey hates them but i think it will complete the look perfectly!) and I might even make the curtains since ive become so crafty hehe. who knows I am just glad that they are here working because that means we are one step closer to a finsihed 2nd bath!!!!

What a Success

What can I say my most recent newborn photo shoot with Mr. Grayson was a HUGE success. Hop on over to boussonphotography.blogspot.com and check out some of the pics! He was such a photogenic little man. I think his pics are some of the best I have taken to date! I think these photography classes i have taken are really paying off. I look forward to doing more shoots in the future. I even have a shoot tomm for a friends at works children. The fact that i am having to do less editing to the original pics (using more sooc shots) has really got me pumped up. Most of the time I am Debbie downer and I over analyze the pics I take but I am slowly getting better and with shots like these well they really boost the moral. I amso fortunate to have such great friends backing me through my journey into photography. I have already had so many people inquire about sessions after seeing Grayson shoot. So heres to you Grayson for giving me a confidence boost!

And the Verdict is in...

Ok so nevermind that this appears to be a pic of my little mans crotch. It is NOT the intention its just that the severity of the rash can be seen here best. I got more pictures on my phone but I didnt upload them yet ust this one. So anyways yesterday am prior to mdo Will was rash free and then after mdo...RASH! So I was a little worried if they had maybe fed him something? Long story short we gave him benadryl and decided to watch him overnight well this am he looked AWFUL! So in true freak out mommy fashion i called the dr office and of course they said bring him in. Well i was so relieved to see Dr. Hanson was the dr this am (normally he is not there when we have to go to walk in clinic) anyways he walked right in and said wow! After discussing everything he was pretty confident in the fact that my little man is allergic to penicillin! Sooooo no more amoxicillin for us! Of course I am to call if anything changes but hey I am just glad its nothing contagious poor thing i thought it was chicken poxs for a second and I was like where did those come from?! After the fact i found out my mom and mom in law are allergic to penicillin and i now know that Joey is allergic to Septra sooo i hope this doesnt mean our options are limited if he does get really sick! So anyways I think he is stirring so i gotta go!

Photo Prop Update

So my props came in today....YEAH! I cannot wait to use them this week when I take pics this week! And let me tell you they look exactly like the images in the post below! And the little flower is too cute as well so i cant wait to do a girl shoot asap. I also created another prop, a fringe blanket (look it up on etsy its to die for!) I dunno that mine will measure up to the 75.00 ones sold on etsy but by golly for around 15 bucks i think it looks pretty good. I started out with a nuetral toned one to see how it photographs and if its a hit then i will make a girl and boy one. I have a few other things up me sleeve so i cant wait to hit the fabric store and target tomm to collect everything i need and i promise pics to come!!!!

Craft Kick

Ok so needless to say i thin everyone can see that I am on a craft kick (probably a major understatement) I dont know what it is maybe its because Will seems to not need me as much to play anymore :( I am excited about his new found independence and we still play and I am ALWAYS close by (duh hes not that big yet) but I feel like I am lazy bum staying home and getting nothing accomplished everyday. Once it gets warmer (or should I say stays warmer) we can go outside to play but until then I am trying to find fun simple things I can do, and it seems like crafts are just that. I cant really sew while Will is awake bc it takes lots on concentration on my part and editing pics use to be something to do but now I am getting to where i dont have to edit as many ( i know thats a good thing but leaves me with not much to do) sooo I am gona try my hand at mod podging (i think i made that term up lol) I got some fun materials and after I spend some quality time with the fam ( i worked last night) and everyone goes down to nap i think I am gonna try my first project. Pics to come

I have decided since i have lots of free time (ok so its not free time like people who arent moms would think of but I only work 2 nights a week so I am at home a lot) I have decided to give more personal things as gifts to friends/family. Most people I know have everything they could possibly imagine so what better way to celebrate important moments in life than to handmake something to show them just how much you care. fortunately I had a good event to start on. A fellow FTM is having her second child and its a boy so I decide to put together a little something (hope you enjoy Mary I will bring it Wed.) And yes I know I get to excited that I spill the beans sometimes so if you dont read this you will be surprised and if you do read it then....SURPRISE lol! (disclaimer I followed all instructions so I hope nothing falls apart lol)

I must say that I cannot wait to do some more mod podging and burp cloth making. I may step outside of the box and try a burp cloth too....Watch out!

Getting into Party Mode

So as Wills first birthday is fastly approaching i am officially in party mode!!! I have been searching near and far haha for a theme/color scheme the whole nine yards really and i finally found a wonderful new friend to make the complete package for me. I actually found her blog through another friends blog but come to find out its a small world and our parents went to high school together....crazy!!!! anyways You can check out her blog under blogs im following (The Stickles)-i STILL dont know how to link I know pathetic. She rocks and she even found me a cake ( i cannot explain how happy I was!). Basically the whole theme now revolves around this cake so i thought I would share a pic. I want the original creator of this cake to make it but if she is busy i will find someone (def not me lol so if anyone has any ideas???)



ok so how cute is that I LOVE IT! I am just patiently waiting on an email back about this cake (ok maybe not so patiently hehe I cant wait to order it)

I have finally decided on a date as well April 24th 3pm! I work the night before but I am hoping that i will be able to pull it off! I am getting so excited about the party planning and I think that it helps keep my ming off the fact that will is gonna be one and that BREAKS my heart. I mean yes I am glad that he is such a big boy and has grown by leaps and bounds but i am gonna miss my baby (and that does NOT mean I will be making more babies anytime soon). Other than that there is really nothing going on at our house. Will now has an awful croupy cough (after the fever finally broke and has stayed away!) he is into everything and thinks it is so funny when I say NO followed by his full name (he only turns around if I say his full name) and then of course smiles and then I laugh so you can see how the discipline routine is going-in his favor lol! Daddy is always wroking on a project around the house for me (the bathroom is still in shamble hopefull that will make a little progress this weekend)Yup I think that is about it! gotta go back to work tata!

I finally found what I was looking for!!!

Ok so I am doing a newborn shoot next week for a friend at work and I want it to be awesome and I have wanted to order some props for some time I just didnt know if I would get a lot of use out of them but I decided what the heck so I found some (that dont take 4 weeks to be made since the shoot is next week) so HOPEFULLY they will get here by then. I am soooo excited now!!! Not that I wasnt before but I love pics like this and now i get to take my shot at them!

My new Hobby

I am finally breaking in the new sewing machine

Ok so I have been sooo busy tongiht sewing that I dont yet have pictures to post of my latest creations but let me tell you I am excited! I an currently working on some burp cloths for some friends who are having babies soon. And with the exception of a crooked line here and there I must admit they are turning out much better than I could have ever imagined! I promise I will post pictures tomm. also today I took Will to the zoo today and we had such a blast he wore his new jumper from Pretty Please. The weather was fabulous I to promise to post those pics tomm as well. Except for the ones of me not that I am all that glamorous on any other occasion but since i got the eye funk (pink eye???) I have not been using my make up bc i dont quite have the money to replensih all my stuff lol soooo the pics of me and Will are even more scary than usual :) Ok so I was just so excited I had to blog about my new fun and take a quick break from it but I have on emore thing I wanna finish so talk to ya later!

Im Back!

Yeah our home has internet again. i am very sad to say that I dont know what I would do without it in the event that it was out longer than 5 days. But with that being said I did do some things I have been meaning to do like.....read a book. Ok so I wasnt that original but I did decided to re read twilight and oh how I love me some Edward Cullen, I am already half way done with the book and I just started last night. I cannot wasit for eclipse to come out in theaters I will so be there at midnight!Well I have to go get ready to go to dinner with my friend Rachel for a girls night but i wanted to leave you all with some of my favorite pics of my dream boy EC

What a Mess!

Ok so today went from bad to worse quite quickly. so will has been febrile (having a fever) since saturday am. It has been low grade (101 ish) so I gave some tylenol. Well saturday night after dinner and James baptism it reached 103 so we started the tylenol/motrin alternating schedule and it still didnt drop below 101. The weird thing was that he was so happy he didnt seem sick at all so I assumed it was probably his ears. After church this am i called the s office and the on call nurse said keep with the meds and bring him in mon am first thing. ok no big deal. Well I worked tonight so I had this feeling in me to call in but i talked myself out of it (I will listen to my motherly instinct from now on!) I convinced myself that he was fine and that I cant just call in everytime my baby has a fever. Well so I could get some sleep tonight my inlaws watched Will after church. I got a text mid afternoon that his fever finally broke yeah so no worrys on the drive into work. I guess it was about 1030 when Joey called me and said he was taking him to the ed! I was like what for? Well apparently he was acting funny, throwing up and his fever was 104.6...yikes! So Jey is not the worrier in the family (that would be me) so it scared me that he was so worried. So they went and after being triaged the nurse said his temp was 102 and that more than likely it was his left ear (he was pulling at it by that point) but if it wasnt his ears he was a little junkyso they would do a cxr (chest xray). Well after waiting a couple hours Wills fever broke and they decided to leave (apparently the freaks come out at night lol and we could take him to his pcp who knows him in leass than 8 hrs) so looks like I will be takinga trip to the peds office in the am and I hope he didnt get exposed to anything while in the nasty hospital waiting room. I tell you what it really sucks feeling that helpless see I am stuck at work so i wasnt able to go to the ed with my little man....tear! After doing some crazy rearranging of the assignment had I needed to leave it would have been possible but since it was going to require someone getting a whole new assignment in the middle of the shift i was trying to wait and see what the dr said. But since Will didnt see a dr i am still at work :( Wishing I was at home loving and rocking my little man to sleep. But I know he is in good hands I just wih I wouls have gone with my motherly instinct and called in earlier today then I would have been there :( Oh well I guess we live and learn I just hope tomm that it is just his ears and not something worse!

A Bump in the Road

So if anyone remembers we did start a bathroom renovation some time ago that i hysterically thought would be done in only a few days. Wow was I wrong. the demo was done fairly quickly but when it came to cleaning the thousand ton crap up off the floor that was a different story. We were finally ready for remodel when we decided to put in a shower sooooo we really havent make any progress. However joey was gutting the linen closet (to make room for shower) and was pulling the old securtiy system off the wall when it completely shut off our phone and ...INTERNET so i am without theinternet at home which means there will be a massive delay in blogging...OH NO (for the whole liek 2 people that may even care and or read this) I am going to call monday but I dont even wanna know how much this oops is gonna cost! So if anyone knows anyone who works for att/bellsouth let me know! Until then dont expect to hear anything form me for a while :(

The Park was a success XCEPT for Mr. Creepy

So yesterday me and my neighbor went to the park by our house to let the boys play and you know me I never leave home without my camera so I got some great pics of the kids. We didnt stay too long because as the sun went down it got cold fast and there was a super creepy guy hanging around us :( He was smoking a black and mild he quoted Micheal Jackson AND he wanted to give Will a piece of candy to suck on and he kept saying suck it ewwwww! Think I may have to find a new park to go to!!!! Anyways here are a few pics from the fun. I would post more but I got to get a nap for work tonight!

I actually made something

Ok so maybe it is not the most technically correct thing ever made but by golly I made a little to go bag ( I say to go bag bc i honestly dont know how much the little thing will be able to hold). Sure there are strings here and there and the button/loop is a little crooked not to mention i am thanking God I used khaki string bc if you could see the stitch lines you would just laugh but I will wear my purse proudly bc I did it AND it only took me 3 hours (probably more time than necessary for a project like this but in my eyes not as bad as I was expecting!) I used the tutorial in the book and did a few things differently (listen to me already straying from the pattern) but I did what worked for me and I love it! This totally gives me the fire to start the little bloomer/diaper cover for Wills 1 year pics ( i have this idea in my head and hope it works out! those require elastic so who know how they will go but I am ready to give it a shot! Not tonight of course, it is almost 1 am and I need to go to bed bc I have FTM tomm and I feel so out of the loop since I missed last week and then I missed Moms night out last night bc I came down with the stomach bug. So Goodnight blog world I will now leave you with a pic of my pretty handmade purse!

Mr. Fussy Pants

Oh my goodness has my little man turned into the fussy pants type. Where is sweet innocent Will, I still see peeks ofhim here and there but the fussy part has taken over. He of course had a tummy bug over the weekend but seems to be feeling fine now. I do think that he is teething though so maybe that is where this new found attitude has come from. I can hope right? It was actually cute at first. It is so neat seeing the light bulb click in their little baby minds. They KNOW what NO means and they KNOW they can totally get away with anything with that little toothy grin. Oh well I guess I will just have a fuss pot, no matter what I love him to pieces and that would never change I will just have to adjust to the outbursts whenever you tell him something he doesnt approve of :) Man I wish I had my flip recording earlier though it was the funniest thing I have ever seen. I really do need to record some because Will is loving to dance these days and I think we love watching it even more. So back to the story will was rubbing his eyes and seemed a little sleepy so I decided to put him in his crib for a nap ( we usually nap together on the couch so began the "tude") Well after letting him cry it out for 5 minutes or so I went back in to lovingly reinforce nap time in the crib well boy did he have other plans. he literally grinned at me pulled up to a stand and started dancing by dropping his booty. I couldnt help it I laughed hysterically which in turn caused him to chuckle and we just laughed at eachother for a good few minutes, And then of course it was back to nap time. He still didnt care for it much but he finally went down for about thirty minutes. Its little moments like these that I want to cherish forever! Now that he is up it is lunch time though so gotta go be creative???? Poor boy eats chicken and veggies pretty much all the time poor thing wheres the variety?! anyone have any ideas?

This is Awesome

So I did a shoot this weekend for a friend of mind. she had three boys and I had a blast getting to see how much fun Will is going to be before i know it. Anyways i found myself "in" one of the pics so i tweeked it a little and the outcome is awesome (to me anyways)

Monday, Monday, Monday

So I surprised myself and made it through the work shift last night. Sometime after eating dinner (at midnight lol) I too began to get sick with this lovely bug. I texted with Joey a few times he told me Will had a few episodes overnight but all in all he was good. Me....not so much the ride home was awful I could not drive fast enough and once I was at home it just got worse. Luckily I have an amazing husband who stayed home and took care of little man while I slept ALL day every time I moved i would get sick all over but if I just laid completely still I was good. I got up around 6 and felt a little better I even kept dinner down woo hoo! Maybe we can kiss this bug goodbye but I am afraid there is still one person left to get it .....Joey :( On another note I am watching the season finale of the Bachelor without having watched any of the season and wow if he doesnt pick Tinley or however you spell he is crazy that Vienna girl seems like she is not in it for the right reasons ( if there can even be right reasons on a show like that???) oh and did he really just call her sexy eek! Ok enough being judgmental haha gotta finish the show!

Please NO Stomach Bug-WARNING- this is a graphic post

so where to begin???? I woke up today and noticed it was 730 and there was no baby in the bed...nice right well as I was about to go back to sleep for as longs as possible I hear stirring on the monitor. Will usually pouts a little and we go in there and get him well this was not the case this am I walked in his room and he was crawling around is his crib. I know this in and of itself is not abnormal but you see I smelled this horrible smell and well I knew he had pooped and just like my facebook status yesterday I knew it was gonna be bad I just didnt know how bad. So I walked over to his crib and picked him up only to find that from the stomach down literally front to back there was not one dry spot on his pjs he had diarrhea everywhere (atleast it was watery right???) Meaning it was now on me :( As I look into his crib I also notice there is barely a dry spot on his sheets and it got on the boppy :( I was horrified,not only thinking how gross it was but more importantly what was wrong with my little man! So of course I yell for back up. While I got Will in the bath i had joey help with the clean up. Apparently that was just the beginning bc when were leaving for church (already late) he did it again and had to be changed. Then at church we had a false alarm we took him to the cry room bc we didnt want to expose and healthy babies in the nursery but as soon as we got in there Joey said uh oh so I rushed to the bathroom but no poo we did however have and episode of emesis at church but it was when I was picking him up so I think he choked himself! So after church we went to eat with the family and then it was back home where we had another blow out. I just dont know what to think you see this has happened a couple times since Christmas and its always random he seems to feel fine but he has this AWFUL poop! I mean no lie it is neon green and smells like a petting zoo (told you this was graphic-sorry) Do any of you moms out there know what this could be??? Rotavirus is just about the only poop I have not seen in my nursing days and i just dont know if this could be that because of the random pattern and the fact that he has gotten the vaccine? I am more afraid that it is revolved around something we are feeding him but I havent been able to pin point a source! All I know is I wouldnt wish it upon my worst enemy! So if anyone has any suggestions I am all ears. I want to take him to mothers day out tomm seeing that I got NO sleep today but I dont know if we should go see the ped instead? I guess that is enough talk about poo though! On the other hand the reason I did not sleep was bc I was staining my door and shutters we are so close to being done with that project but our "bathroom" renovation that I was hoping would be done today will be lasting even longer we are planning on now adding a stand up shower in our half bath which will be a plus but until it is finished it is not so fun there is dust everywhere from the demo and not that I am a clean freak but geez this mess is starting to get to me (so you know it has to be bad right?!) I will have to post a pic soon, I missed out on the photo op of the toilet and sink hanging out in the front yard (insert redneck joke here) Luckily they made there way down to the street so now hopefully the garbage men will pick them up or someone will come steal them (one mans junk.......) any who back to work I go!
