Potty Trained?

So I feel like the past week and a half of my life has revolved around the potty. Last Tuesday we started wearing big boy pants in our house. Will was showing interest and I'm all for saving money in the diaper dept since we were about to start having to buy double.
Will has been doing so great! We only had one pee accident and a few poo ones but I've been told that is inevitable. I wasn't really sure what else needed to be done, he was going whenever we asked but not telling us if he needed to go. And then I tried to get him to go in public and that was a disaster!!!
So I figured if we at least minimized our diaper use I was cool with that. Well then we started this week. He continued doing well and even showing less resistance when asked to pee! His teachers at school even said he went 4 times with them! The turning point was yesterday when I walked in on him peeing (without being asked to) I was so excited and since then he has even said I need to pee a few times.
So today I bit the bullet and attempted a day of outings!! We overslept for moms group ( boo bc I was really looking forward to discussing the chapter of our reading but the rest was nice too) so when we finally got out of bed we met up with a friend and her children at the play area at the wolf chase mall. So we made it from the house to the mall with no accident. After we ate lunch I took him to the potty and after much argument he finally peed! Then we played and the we pee'd again before we left and he went without hesitation. :) talk about a happy momma. So we rode the carousel as a reward a went to see daddy before heading back to our neck of the woods. We made it home dry and when we got home he said he needed to go and even went #2. Naptime was a success and so was dinner. We are now watching tv and he is at it again !!! So although I know this is just the beginning I am still so proud of my little man. And even though pee and poo and potential incidents will not leave my daily topics of conversation maybe I can stop going crazy about it haha!! So now you know every little details of my sons bodily functions I will try to curve the pee posts lol!

Potty Training

So we are in the midst of potty training and this time really seems to be going well. Will seems more interested and is taking to it a little more. He still doesn't verbalize when he wants to go but he is atleast going without a fight when I ask him to. The only rebellious times are right after naps but hey we are attempting it. In the past two days we have only had accidents with number 2 he has peed everytine in the potty so that is an accomplishment itself!! Who knows how long it will take to be completely potty trained but I figure if we start now he will be potty trained by kindergarten right lol!

Maternity Pics

so Sunday after church we packed up the yukon and headed downtown for a little impromptu photo session. I had just shot a family session down there the day before so I wanted to grab the tripod and give it a shot. I was wanting to get our wedding photographer to take pics for us but I couldnt nail down joey for a day to do a session so these were just in case. And after going through all of them my conclusion was that Joey and the tripod did a pretty good job :) I am really happy with them and cant wait to frame a few. And for the record I am digging this blue wall downtown so for all my clients interested in downtown sessions this will definitely make it in the mix!

Oh and just a tid bit, since today was a lazy day at home I decided to work on the potty training and Will did pretty good we successfully went in the potty 6 times ( every time i initiated it) and only had 2 accidents. Im not sure how to get him to understand the concept of telling me when he has to pee???? Also when we were laying down for a nap he turned to me and said " mommy , will you be my best friend?" I think my heart melted right then and there. I LOVE being Wills mommy and I cannot for Brooks to come join the fun!!!

Wow!!!!

So I will start off by saying that I just got my stroller today so these thoughts may be a bit premature but I am already overly impressed so I wanted to let everyone know my "first impression"of my new Bob stroller!
I was pleased to see that when I got the stroller out of the box the only thing needing installing were the wheels and after reading the instructions this was fairly simple. After that we were in business, the stroller isn't near as heavy as I was expecting but it is Huge so don't be surprised! A friend of mine with the older version said she read somewhere that the new model is 8 inches smaller in width, not sure that this is true but it fits through my front door fully open so I am pleased. It's super easy turning also made it easy to get out my door and down the steps -you would have to know my house but maneuvering my fixed wheel jogging stroller out my front door was enough to throw me in a fit of rage!
Will fit comfy into the seat and was super excited that the canopy pulled over do far, he is fascinated with the canopy on strollers! It even started to rain as we were outside and the canopy covered him from head to toe!
We live in east Memphis so our sidewalks suck but strolling along was virtually bump free :)so needless to say I am already so happy with my purchase. The only cons I would say are the price and the size , but I've learned in the past you get what you pay for and as far as size I don't think there is such a thing as a compact double lol! Well after all that typing here's a few pics.
Oh and one last thing READ the instructions on opening and closing its not hard but will def take a few times doing it to become a pro lol!
