Happy Thursday

So like I said last night we finally had our little 9 month photo shoot and boy did Will have fun. I try to take the pics revolving around one of his bigger milestones for that month so this month of course it would be big boy food soooo i took pics of him eating his baby goldfish (thanks Jessica B for that suggestion he loves them just like his daddy) and PIZZA i know im a horrible mom right but technically i dont think they eat enough at this age to get fat i mean he is crawling and pulling up/cruising everywhere so he deserves a treat every once in awhile haha! Not to mention it was really easy i got those little personal pan pizzas in the frozen section at Kroger heated it up and then cut it into little peices and gave him 2 little slices and put the rest in the fridge to use over the next couple of days...love it! I also hope to upload a video later this afternoon of Will with his FAVORITE new toy it the fisherprice superstar stand. I finally found it at Babies r us yesterday so of course i bought it and he has been dancing up a storm it is hilarious! But my teething screaming child is calling for his tylenol and nap so i must go for now....

Not to much going on ...

Well nothing too much has really happened in our household this week, we have just been running non stop! This past weekend I worked Saturday and Sunday I dont like working two in a row but sometimes you have to. While I was working my husband and family/friends installed our new front door. It is the one I have wanted since we moved in. We still have a few more coats of stain to put on but since a potential ice storm is coming through that will have to wait! but it is much better than the mullet door (promis a whole post will explain this in due time) Now I just have to paint the shutters and get the rod iron down and wooden posts up and we just might have ourselves a cute house! Monday night I had bible study and it was sooo good! I am really enjoying reading this new book and sharing my thoughts on it with such a great group of ladies! yesterday I ran errands and cleaned and then today i had my FTM group then went to the grocery store and to babies r us just in case we do get snowed/iced in this weekend (well i will still have to go to work so i guess it doesnt sound like that much fun). I also have been rearranging the house and as I get ti clean I will be posting pics of that as well it is soooo much more spacious I LOVE it! Oh and I took Wills 9 month sticker picture so that will be coming soon hehe. So overall I guess this is a post to say I will be posting soon haha I couldnt not post any pics though the ones above are of Will and his favorite toy Chuck the Truck, and him wanting to go outside oh and him with his hand in his mouth this is how he has been for the past few weeks You can see 2 more teeth up top just waiting to bust through so hopefully for his sake they will be in soon bc he is getting more grumpy with each day theyarent here. Thats it for now I am going to make myself stay in and clean tomm so maybe I can take a blog break when Will lays down for a nap!

Totally Appropriate for 0513 lol

Ok so while at work and after performing my nursing duties I stumbled across a new blog babybangs.blogspot.com....hilarious. Typical cute blog with hundreds of viewers but I was still curious as to why it was called baby bangs and then I found it:

I soooo have a case of baby bags right now. I must admit I was in fear that I had all of a sudden grown sideburns and was secretly praying that they would soon go away, but not to fear. After seeing my hair dresser for a much needed "minimakeover" she explained that I have these inch long hairs all over my haid...Great! So what did I di oh I chopped all my hair off! Ok well not really but for anyone who has known me for a while I went back to my shorter stacked bob instead of the hot mess that was slowly taking over my face! I feel so much better and not quite so sickly looking haha. I will have to get a pic with Will soon so I can post a pic of the "new do". Thats all I really had to say (can you tell I have been up way to long!!!) And I get to do it all again tomm, I mean tonight since its morning and all :)

My First Big Boy Day

Okay so technically his first big boy day was tuesday and these are the pics from all his "big boy" meals. It was so much fun and very different from baby food, and at the same time it was kind of sad bc its almost as if he doesnt need me any more :( I still get to help i guess. Its just so crazy how fast they grow you look forward to milestones then you long to have another pre big boy moment lol. I was looking at pics from the day he was born tonight and this is where i would say he was sooo tiny but since he was 10 lbs and literally looked like a sumo wrestler i will just say he was so different! I cannot believe 9 months have already flown by. I mean I am already thinking of birthday ideas. I wanna try to make his invitation this year so I need to start now to figure this stuff our in photo shop and then figure out how I can print it off on card stock hmmmm any sugestions? Atleast I have 3 months to figure it out! And as far as themes geez I have so many in my head but is it bad that I want to save them until he is old enough to remember them? I mean this birthday is for the parents after all hehe I am thinking of a basic boy color scheme and maybe throw in some kind of boy thing on the side (trains, plains and automobiles should def be older b-days) Anyways enough about b-days i dont wanna rush anything after all Valentines day is first and I am gonna try to make some happys from Will to all his loved ones. Wish me luck! Hope it doesnt turn into a Lysa Terkheurst moment (all my ftm's will get this)! Well just wanted to post about big boy food but I need to run it is Daily Devotional time :) But I will leave all you moms with this thought right here...... You only THOUGHT babyfood poo was as stinky as it gets...NOPE big boy food is even worse! HEHE I know you all wanted to know that huh?! Good Night & God Bless

Ok so first off I am SUPER excited that I got not one but 2 blog awards. NEVER thought that would have happened,well maybe I dreamed of an honorable mention ribbon at some point during my dabbles with making my blog pretty :) Jessica (were basically family) from lovefromtexas.com passed the awards downt to me. I must say that her blog was the main inspiration for mine. She is so very crafty and I only WISH my blog was as awesome as hers but hey Im working on it :) So as for nominating bloggers I only have a few I am following at this time so im kinda gonna steal Jessicas idea and award everyone with both (i dont think I have a combined 17 blogs to seperate the awards so sorry Im really not trying to cop out. OH and as far as linking the blogs of my winners um yeah so I am not the blog savy yet and dont really think I have the mind power to figure it out right now so I will post the names, as I have them listed under blogs I am following and well you get the drift (just go over there and click on them to view. Got it> Ok so lets get started....

Ten Things that make me Happy:
1.) MY SON- he is the light of my life and my days are no longer complete without him in them.
2.) My relationship Im building with God this year. A New Years resolution of mine was to start a daily devotional and to start reading the Bible so far I have started the Daily Devotionals and I am trying to decide where to begin my journey through the Bible...baby steps! Its amazing what you hear when you stop and listen....
3.) My husband is also another amazing man in my life. Not only is he an amzing hubby but he is such an awesome Dad to our son Will. I could not ask for more.
4.) Photography- I LOVE taking pictures and editing them. I have always had a passion for photography but it is just recently that I have let my self get completely lost in it. I start classes in feb. and I cannot wait. My dream is to one day do that for a living (opposed to being a nurse, or atleast become a prn one lol) pretty lofty goal but hey at this point I just feel that it is the gift God gave me R
5.) Sushi...ooooooohhhhhh how I love the redbird roll from SPR. I wish i had the funds to eat it every day bc believe I could!
6.) Retail therapy-every girl loves shopping right. I use to love shopping for myself but now I love shopping for Will. I try not to go too crazy but who are we kidding we dont leave target without atleast one toy everytime we go haha.
7.) Having a great job and a roof over my head-yeah I know this should definitely be a little higher on the list but lets just say this list is not in any specific order how about that :) My family is very fortunate to have what we have. It may not be much to some and it may be "beyond means" to others but its just right for us and for that I could not be happier.
8.) Starbucks-need I say more
9.) Red Bull- I am OBSESSED with this magical little happy juice. I think I atleast drink 2 a day...is that a bad thing????
and last but not least
10.) Friends and Family- where would I be without these wonderful people who keep me going everyday. I am so very lucky to have all the wonderful people I have in my life from my mom to my husband and child to my in laws to my best girl friends. I AM trully blessed!

now to 7 things that are interesting about me
This could be a tough one I dont consider myself all that interesting but here goes nothing
1.) I have grey hair and I am only 28 what the heck. And I am not talking one grey hair I am talking like a lot to the point where I am going to be going blonde again this week hopefully. My child isnt even bad yet am I going to be nicknamed the silver lady by all his friends aaaggghhhh!
2.) I have 3 dads...really I do. And I love them all dearly. There is my biological father, my first step dad (my sisters dad, and then my 2nd step dad(Bill) they are all awesome!
3.) I was a Redbird Redhot back in the day (when the thought of getting into a way to short and tight cheerleading uniform use to sound like a good idea) I did this from 2000 to 2005. It was a lot of fun if even baseball isnt suppose to have cheerleaders we had fun dancing out there on the field.
4.) Speaking of cheerleading I was a member of the 2000 National Championship winning Craigmont Chief Co-Ed Cheer Squad. Those were the best four years of my life and winning the national title my senior year was a perfect endingvto my highschool years. I later cheered for the U of M but college cheering wasnt for me ( I quit twice) yeah I know quitters suck but under the circumstances (Sherri, 5'9' and 130 lbs and running fat laps, and failing classes with no competition future in sight) wasnt the cheerleading I knew and loved.
5.)I totally fit in the same boat with Jessica (the girl who gave me this award) I cannot get out of Target without spending 100 bucks! I mean what is up with that!
6.)I went to college for 8 years and I only have 1 degree. I dont know if this is interesting or depressing but I started out at the U of M and after attempting my hand at a few different majors I quit school their and started nursing school at Baptist College of Health Sciences where I graduated in Dec of 2007 with a BSN in nursing. I love only working twice a week :)
and lastly
7.) If I am couting correctly and by that I mean this number could be more but it is late and my brain isnt workign all that great but I have had 9 cars since I was 16
celica, civic,cougar,jeep,saturn,scion,g6 convertible,envoy,yukon. Ridiculous right. REst assure that this yukon is gonna stick with the Bousson family till the wheels fall off. We could probably own our house by now with all the non sense car notes I have had and I am pretty sure that I am missing one care but I cant put my finger on it so for now 9 it is.

2-The Harrisons (joseph-n-ashley.blogspot.com) this is Ashley, a friend from my moms group at Hope and she is also a fellow nurse at the good old Lebonheur. She has a 5 month old and reading her adventures in mommyhood always make me laugh cry and smile. Her blog is the ideal blog that we all create to remember these moments. It is her virtual babybook to say the least :)
3-The Burchetts (gettingreadyforbabyburchett.blogspot.com) this is Melody, we went to college and were in the same sorority together and we also work at Lebonehur together (in different units but still fellow leb gals) her blog is and inspirational one and very educational in the baby department, she has a gorgeous little daughter and she is always blogging about her latest and greatest mommy tips which is a big help since I am always looking up things for Will
4-Jessica Hobbs blog is amazing, she is such a strong woman and I will not post the link because her blog is private but I just want to recoginize her because she has the attitude that I could only wish i had. She is so strong and trusts in the Lord to provide the strength she needs and just wanted to recognize her with these awards!
5-The Smiths (whentwobecamethree.blogspot.com) I just recently found Courtneys blog. We went to highschool together and our sons are very close in age. Her son has Spina Bifida and her blog is all about that journey. Her story is so powerful and motivational and she is such and amazing lady not to mention a AWESOME photographer we are both ametuers looking to become a little more professional (or atleast our friends think we should be) and hey what can I say we both have adorable models to use for our practice shoots hehe
6-The Hannahs (cliffandsandrahannah.blogspot.com) Sandra is one of my very bestest friends and she is married to Cliff. They live just around the corner from us so we hang out lots! Will just adores his Aunt Sandra and she just loves him :) She is in Radiation Therapy and due to a shortage of those positions in this area she is currently looking for a position in a local hospital as a radiation therapist so if anyone might happen to know someone who knows someone well you know what to do :) And if not just include her in your prayers tonight bc she is awesome at what she does and wants to get out there and help folks. Oh and I gave her this award bc she just came back to the blogging world and I am so excited I have another blog to stalk I mean read hehe.
7-The Toohigs (twohigsarebetterthanone.blogspot.com) This is also another friend from my moms group and she is just a hoot. Reading about her little girl can totally make ya giggle. I have been so blessed to find such fun ladies to share my wednesdays with and I can wait till the little tykes get older and start interacting a lot more. They are all going to be too cute
8-The Hardens (thehardenjourney.blogspot.com)so again another fellow Leb gal and moms group gal. Her story is just the sweetest and I am so happy for her and her husband and their newest edition to the family. She has been posting lots lately so I have lots to read on the night shift :)
9-The Bairds (littlewhitedogblog.blogspot.com) This is Lauren, another mom grouper she just had her baby girl Libby and she is the cutest! Her blog is so pretty and fun so I jsut had to award her!
10-The Bagwells (jessicaandcharliebagwell.blogspot.com)These are some really close friends of ours. They have a little girl Adelyn who is a month older than Will and they have so much fun when they hang out. Jessicas blog is too cute but she hasnt exactly updated in a while and I am awaiting her return (lol) so I hope these awards will inspire her to come back and grace us with her blogging I could even create a pretty header for her hehehehe :)

God Is Good

So I have a couple of updates tonight. I feel like I havent blogged in forever (really its only been since friday but hey thats a long time right). Weel tonight was the first night of the new Bible Study at Hope. We are reading the new Lysa Terkheurst book How To Be More Than A Good Bible Study Girl. So far its great and tonight was a kick off so to speak. There is a Dvd to go along with the reading and then we are put into small groups to discuss the dvd/book. Well there were 6 of us and the small groups were in numbers of 15 so it just so happen that there was a group of 9 women who needed 6 more to complete their group. Well let me just tell you how God works bc our group is just PERFECT i dont know that I have laughed that hard in a while. We are going to be going through this book in my moms group as well but I must admit it was fun to get out (just me) and interact with some women. I must admit coming home to bath time with my little man was a great way to end the might but you get my point right?! What an amazing group of women I have beenintroduced to. I cannot wait to see what the next 5 weeks have in store for us Im sure there will be much more blogging about this group in the future (i do believe we could be called the wild ones hehe) And I think my favortie part of the night was listening to this womans story about how God IS Real and here for us. It was so inspirational I even teared up! I am very happy that we have found a church that makes us feel so at home and has pulled at my heart strings to become more involved.

Just came to mind

Ok so this week marked that Will is 40 weeks old. WOW he has been on this earth as long as he was in my belly. I cannot believe it has been that long! It seems like yesterday that he was just a thought in our mind and then God created such a wonderful perfect little guy in my belly who radiates his sunshine to all he meets now that he has been let loose on this earth! I just got to thinking about that today and thought I would share it :) Tonight has been good he has acted a little more like himself which makes me happy! He still gets chiked up a lot but hopefully I can bulb suction all that gunk out! Atleast we go back monday and we will see Dr. Hanson who we absolutely adore. Hopefully he will be feeling better so we can focus on his 9 month stats instead of his illness. This is the appointment we talk about big boy foods etc. We did give him a french fry last night ( I normally only give him the inside bc I dont want a kid who only eats junk food so if he doesnt know its a french fry he just tastes potato right lol) anyways he LOVED the fry but then puked it up on me (gotta love that) I guess a fry here and there wont hurt right I mean i wont deprive my kid from a happy meal but I dont want to create the next biggest loser either! Well the little man just went to sleep so that means I am going to go to bed too. Good Night :)

Things are looking up a little

Ok so this is what my day has looked like, but it hasnt been all tears we did get a smile in there every once in a while. he actually played a little this am then ate a bottle got choked up and got sad again. I dont get many pics of him fussy so i got quite a few today. the first pic in the crib was actually yesterday before I took his temp he normally wakes up happy and i was gonna snap a pic of him and then he was crying with real tears I got a pic then picked him up and well you know the story from there (if you read my previous blog). His fever did break this am thank goodness but he is still a little pitiful. I was scheduled to work tonight but ended up calling in (not before i tried calling people to see if they would work for me lol only I would worry about that) I just didnt want to leave them hanging, It is weird calling in when your child is sick bc you arent technically sick, I know it made me feel bad but there was a prn rn that wanted to work so atleast they wont be short tonight! Most of my points have rolled off since being preggers (I called in a lot bc Will was much more of a bad baby in the womb than in the flesh) so my slate is clean. I will be going back sunday and I hope he will be feeling better by then.So today has pretty much been a stay in the pj's day. will has been napping for a little over 3 hours now and he slept in till like 10:30 ish Bless his heart he is being such a trooper. I cant wait to see more than just a glimpse of his smile again!
On another note I just want to thank everyone who voted for him in the Methodist contest. it was a little frustrating that they made it sound like they were going to take the top 3 and then only picked one. Im fine with him not winning but i swear i was so "that mom" bugging all my friends today to vote for him to get him in that 3rd place spot he was so close and then bam only 1 winner. Geez! Made me be the "crazy lady" for nothing. The winner was up by some ridiculous amount of votes so they prob put the top 3 out there to keep getting fans of their website....politics. Oh well it was fun but i am done with that, I am glad I didnt have a girl bc I would never cut it in the toddler and tiara world hehe.

Poor Pitiful Baby

my poor baby had his first fever yesterday :( He woke up whiny and although he wasnt pulling at his ear something told me he had an ear infection (he has been draining for a while so i have been waiting for it to happen) He was very fussy while me and my friend were shopping at Marshalls so we packed up and left. We got home and I checked out his gums, they are a little white in areas so I bet some new teeth will soon be making way! I thought that might be fussy so with a low grade temp of 100.6 i gave him some tylenol and put him down for his nap. When he woke up about after an hour I picked him up and he was scorching! I checked his temp again and it was 101.1 I was like uh oh (remember tylenol an hour ago) also at this point he had two episodes of coughing so hard he puked blobs of milk and mucus on me. So I called the dr and they said come on in. So at this point I hopped in the showere to go (appt wasnt until 530 and it was 430) well by time I got out of shower he was coughing so hard his poor little face was turning a light shade of purple (yall know I freak out so although trying to stay calm i do know that after purple comes blue and well I didnt want to wait for that to happen) so I stopped drying my hair and picked him up, again he was even hotter than before so I check his temp on the way out the door and 102.9 was what I saw eek! So we got to dr office and they got us straight back. His temp there was 102.1 and after a full exam we got the news he had a right ear infection (reason for the fever) and possible RSV....Yikes! the reason I say possible is bc the dr didnt actually test him for it she said we technically wouldnt treat him any differently (hey dont give antibiotics for RSV) She bulb suctioned him out and got less than I do and was like "wow thats thick" and I was thinking duh thats why he is choking on it. so I was sent home with antibiotics for his ear and tylenol/motrin orders. I am also suppose to watch him like a hawk to make sure that the resp part of this doesnt get worse. So far so good. His fever was right at 10 this am which is the lowest its been and he didnt cough to bad overnight. However after his am bottle he had a pretty signifigant coughing fit but hes out now. So I am gunna go cuddle with my munchkin man. Hopefully we can kick this in the bud fast!

Late Nights

Just thought i would share a picture of Will taking a bath in the BIG BOY tub! He loves it. I had a really hard time deciding to do this bc I have a weird gross feeling about other people who have lived here using this tub but I had my hubby do a fantastic bleach job on it so I finally gave in and I am so excited I did!
Ok so I think it is soooo funny that I stay up later now that Will sleeps all night than I did when he was eating every few hours. Its so funny how much things change in your life. I remember when I longed for sleep not that Will was bad but he literally was eating every HOUR. Now that I can have all the sleep I want I sit up reading friends blogs and editing pictures and look down and say whoa its (insert time here for instance its 11:14 now) I know I should be sleeping but I feel as if I still have so much to do and besides I am WIDE awake! I really do have to kick this habit in the butt. I have found I have entered a stay up late sleep in trend (if you can even say its sleeping in with an infant) but we do lounge in bed more than we need to so I am going to make an effort to get our butts out of bed tomm am. We did better today. I will leave the time out because I have to admit I am a bit embarrassed that I have allowed this to go on since starting nights. But I must say today felt good, since it was a bit warmer my friend got me out of the house to go "run" 3 miles HA me RUN???? Crazy I know and although what I did was far from run I did finish 3 miles and it felt good. so i hope the next few days are warm as well so I can get us out of the house! Thanks Sandra for a few calories burned! I cant wait till spring bc Will just giggles when we go outside and I desperately want to allow him to play outside but mother nature has just not cooperated much , I mean after all what do I expect it is January for crying out loud. I guess we will just have to hang out indoors until spring if we can make it that far. Oh and have I said my house is a disaster yet bc it is. I just cant seem to keep it clean I mean I try but when I do clean it just gets messy again so i have kinda slacked off...gross I know. Maybe me and Joey can get in back into shape this saturday when I am off. I think the funniest part of it all is my little helper(Will) for instance take his fridge magnet barn set he ONLY wants to play with it when I put everything in nice neat order on the fridge then...I kid you not her goes over to the fridge and pulls every last magnet down and then the best part ishe crawls off like he never did a thing. It reallis hard to be upset at him in all his cuteness I mean the faces he has, they just melt my heart so I wait about ten minutes and put them up again and then again he pulls them down. So currently they are hanging out on the floor! Ok so I think I have accomplished making this a pretty random post so I hope it ammused atleast one person out there. Oh and the most important thing I almost forgot for all my photo mommas out there with DSLR cameras check out the becoming mom link under blogs im follwing. Where do I begin????

Ok so Wow what a day! I have a whirlwind of emotions right now. I dont even know where to begin this post but I know i have worked up a big story and i am keeping precious readers waiting (haha) Well a prelude to this story would be the fact that 2 weeks ago i locked Will in the car while loading up at Sams (on Getwell) I was being the overprotective mom locking the car while putting Will in his seat (so nobody could jump in on the other side and get me and my little man) long story short I shut the door and everything was in the car including Will. Some nice people stopped to help me and Joey came and unlocked the door. Total crisis lasting less than 30 minutes. I was suprisingly calm (since it was not 100+ degrees outside) Ok so that is Lock Out #1

Onto Lock Out #2....
So before I get into this very long blog let me tell you about Lysa Terkeurst. She is an amazing Christian women who came to speak to all the women of Hope Pres. She was fabulous both nights (I will post more on her later to prevent a mile long blog) BUT the pics above are in part thanks to her. I created a little scrapbook page with my favorite Bible Verse from her talk, then I took a little trip to the christian bookstore after Lock out #2 today and picked up a Womens(MOM) Devotional Bible (NIV), a journal to write about my journey to know the Bible better ( a new years resolution),some awesome bangles with verses on them, a book and Praise Baby cd for Will, another little book about getting closer to God and the the love dare cards from the movie fireproof (and no we are not having marrital issues but being parents can definitely take away from the alone time that use to exist so I thought this was a great way to get/stay on track and in tune with one another). I think that is all I bought but anyways BACK to the story at hand. So after listening to Lysa today I headed out to the car to load up which required WAY more today seeing as I had my camera gear (I was asked to take pics of the event to post on the churchs site), a purse and a diaperbag, I NEVER carry this much!!! So as always i put Will in the car without realizing the key fob to my car must have fallen out of my hand into his carseat under him (my actual keys were still in purse i had warmed car this am so they were seperate). So I dunno if his butt locked the door or if I did it without even thinking about it but as I waved bye to my sis in law and was shutting the door I had the heart dropping feeling that i had done it again which was quickly overlooked by the oh no i didnt I have my key fob and besides i didnt hit the lock button...Well boy was I WRONG because when I went to open his door I had that awful feeling again...it was locked! So after yelling a bad word that starts with S and ends with T at the top of my lungs in the church parking lot (Lord I apologize) I realized I was alone again..until I flagged a nice young lady named Misty/Missy/Mitsy down, I was a little frantic so i cant really remember the details. But she was gracious enough to let me use her cell phone (bc again all my things were locked in the car with Will). And again Joey came to bail us out. In the end Will was fine yet again but this time I was so much more upset. I really couldnt tell you if it was because I had done it again, I was worried for him or if I was embarassed at the thought that people I know may come out and see me and think what a horrible mother I am and then BAM Lysa and Gods words hit me like a ton of bricks...A) who cares what people think of me I know I am doing the best I can and I am fine with that (not so fine with locking my kid in the car but you get my point) and B) God knew I was gonna do this a long time ago and he allowed it so I should just believe in him and he will see me through and then I thought about what Lysa said about her daughters gymnastics injury and it all made sense. God was looking out for us and who knows maybe he was saving us from something worse???? The interstate was backed up on the way home and I assumed it was due to a wreck and then I thought wow Gods plan who knows where we might have been if Lock out #2 hadnt happened??? So although I hope a weekely lock out is not Gods plan for me I am thankful for the experience to hear him speak to me today in the Church parking lot! After my adventures in the christian bookstore I popped in the praise baby cd and cried the whole way home. I can say that my heart is a lot more open now and I look forward to seeing what God has in store for me this year because today has opened my door! I also found that Lysa has a blogspot (see blogs I'm following) and you can google proverbs31ministry and get daily devotionals emailed to ya.Thats about all the excitement I can post about right now but I will def blog later :) Hope the story was worth the suspense ladies!

Snow Day

We had a fun 5 minutes in the snow haha! It was so cold I was afraid the snow would melt on him and get him soaked so I didnt waste anytime get in get out (back into the warm house that is) But in that 5 minutes I was able to get some pretty good pics of my lil man enjoying the snow. He couldve dtayed out there all day had I let him. Jude was excited he was outside too he was going crazy running across the yard and Will was just smiling. All in all it was a good day.
Oh and yesterday he also took his first big boy bath in the the bath tub. He loved that too. I only filled it up to his waist line and I sat by the side of the bath of course but he felt so free you could tell and I dumped all his toys in their and he was having the time of his life. As soon as I upload the pics I will post them!

One more post while the house is Quiet

I know that I am more than a little behind on this but after reading a few blogs of the moms in my FTM group i wanted to start giving this a try. Each month they give an update of what their little ones have been up to and I just love reading them bc since they are a few months younger than Will i do the "typical" oooh and awww i remember those days. I do typically post milestones in individual posts nut i though an overall post was fun to and since it is the new year.....

So far in January Will has:
- taken his crawling to a new level which would be the super speed level ( he gets this from his best bud Jax. I am afraid he will NEVER be as fast as that little guy though he is the definition of gone in 60 sec lol)
-Bulked up his vocabulary he typically says Da Da the occasional Ma Maand of course the Heeeeeyyyy (that is my fave bc he ususally smiles with it) and today he said Car (it sounded like Ka) he was looking at the dogs so I am not sure what he thought he was saying but it was just too cute!
-this is nothing new but the amount of him doing it definitely is he pulls up on everything but yesterday this included the dog kennel the coon trap (yes he actually crawled on top of it oh and it was pre trapped critter we are still waiting on that part so no germs)guess he wanted to join in on the fun.
- and to my surprise he actually started to try to open cabinets yesterday-good thing they are already child proof.
-I believe we may also be working on another tooth bc his hands are always in his mouth. I keep investigationg but i dont see anything yet. I have been tryin gto get a pic of all 4 toothers but so far i have been unsuccessful so we shall see??

I think that recaps the first week of 2010 We go for our 9 month check up towards the end of the month so who knows what he will do by then. But I think I hear a little man calling my name now (as well as a critter upstairs so I am gonna go out on a limb and say he didnt make it to the critter cage :(so i gotta go!

So I am addicted

ok so is anyone else having the problem after they upload pics that its just a bunch of text and not showing pics where you can write under them anymore? Ugh this is very annoying of well I took all the pics yesterday with my new camera and I love the way it works! I can use it in so many more lighting conditions with better results I dont have a full reciew yet bc I am still getiing to know the camera and well i havent even got to use it outside since its frigid! My opinion so far though is this it is great but you def need to know more about what your doing it is VERY sensitive. It takes a lot more pictures a lot faster and while most of them turn out fine I have noticed a few more blurry pics than I did when using the rebel. I contribute this to myself for lacking the knowledge and to the fact that the camera is just a lot more sensitive (which is good i just have to get that working in my favor) I am actually taking some pics today and this weekend for a couple of friends of mine and I am doing a "sort of shoot" next week (more details to come onthis but I am REALLY excited about this one). Anyways thats really about it right now. I have began to feel bad blogging during the day bc Will is awake so Ive decided when I wake up early and the whole house is asleep(xcept me and the racoon in the attic who is hopefully being called to the trap we set by the yummy veggies)I will blog then!

Will's First Day at MDO

So I think my only saving grace of not having a total mommy breakdown at Wills first day of MDO is the fact that I was totally exhausted from working all night!!! I was sad and did get a little teary eyed once i got home and I was all alone in the house (i am never all alone in the house). The next thing I knew I was waking up from my glorious 4 hour slumber and it was 1pm so I went ahead and went and picked him up and guess what....He survived lol! The ladies said he did fabulous for his first day and he was such a good boy :0 So far so good I am glad he had a good time and I am glad I got some sleep!
