So we have been having lots of fun around the Bousson household. Will gets into everything but he is still slow enough to catch i dont know what we will do when he decides to just get up and go. Currently you can hear a squeal of delight and then hes off but I am afraid sooner or later he will not give us such a warning! He loves his Mum Mums they are little rice husks that dissolve easily so it is mommy stress free and keeps him occupied for a while. I think I have already blogged about his sippy cup...he loves it so we are saying bye bye to bottle before he really has a chance to grow attached to them. I of course watch him eat to make sure he doesnt choke but it is nice to have about 15 min where he is in a zone of feeding to actually think about breakfast for me b/c I cannot tell you how long it has been since i have gotten to eat breakfast. We are sinking into a routine and it feels good we have about 2 naps a day and a consistent eating pattern. Life is good :) But Monday morning we hit a little bump in the road. I woke up with a cold and Will woke up with a rash all over his cheeks! At first i thought teething but then it spread all over his face and we didnt know what it could be?! I called the dr and they gave me the dose for benadryl. So after meds and a not so good nights sleep (he was up every other hour) we were rash free! That was until we got out of bed and the once face rash turned into a whole body rash including swelling. Wills poor hands looked like the stay puff marshmellow man! Of course me being the freak out mom called the dr asap, I mean I didnt want his airway to swell and impair his breathing after all his chubby cheeks were now chipmunk cheeks stored full of acorns for winter! They told me to increase the bendaryl dose and bring him in so that is what we did. It made me feel better that the dr agreed with me that he was extremely swollen (and this was a couple hrs AFTER the benadryl) he said that he had a viral induced uticaria meaning basically an allergic reaction to a virus. So now we just have to let it run its course and if its not gone in a week we go back. But good news is so far this morning we are rash free and just a litlle puffy and a little more chipper than the past two days! But I believe Will is trying to tell me it is lunch time so tata for now. Wills baptism is this Sunday so i will be posting pics soon :)
