4 Weeks!

till Vacation that is!

Ok so I thought I would be funny.

All my cute pregger friends our following in the Kellys Korner Pregnancy Updates Week by Week and I was just being silly and thought I would do the same but of course since I am not preggers I will be counting down until my trip to the Dominican Republic :)

Sooooo thats where the 4 weeks came from. Its actually about 35 days but either way I am SUPER excited about how far I have come but I am still looking ahead to see how much farther I can progress until we get on that plane!

So a little run down:

Beginning Weight----> 172 lbs (171-172 any given day)

Todays Weight----> 157 Lbs ( all but 3 are from exercise the other 3 were from stomach virus)

measurements on 2/1/11

arm-12.5, chest-37.75, waist- 36.75, hips-41.75, thigh- 24.75

Today

arm-11.5, chest-36.5, waist-31, hips-39.75, thigh-22.5

I am not so sure she measured me correctly but if she did woo hoo

either way I know I have lost inches and now measuring myself I can keep better track

previous size clothing- 10 to 12

current size- 8 and they arent snug :)

biggest accomplishment- fitting in all my OLD designer jeans (sevens,coh,ag)

and getting below 160 I havent seen those numbers on the scale is AGES!

Ok so any how I just wanted to do a post to keep myself accountable and encouraged to keep going and I thought this format made it a little more interesting ( if anyone cares)

So 15 lbs down I would like to lose 10 more but I am currently really Happy!

The Day started like this

and ended like this!

Soooo last night definitely did not end how I had imagined. I woke up yesterday feeling fine, after church my stomach starting feeling queesy but i went about my business. Joey and Will left for the day so i could get sleep for work and thats when the bottom fell out. I was soooo sick! The first picture is the one I sent Joey saying I was getting worse. I layed around all day until it was time to go to work. I couldnt call in bc i had to many points from family emergencies that had happened recently and I didnt want to get in trouble.

Well as soon as I got to work it was all over I could not stay out of the bathroom. I think I hate puking more than life itself! Ugh so groos just thinking about it! I struggled through report and went to see my first pt ( after a few pitstops to the bathroom) . While in my first pt room he puked all over me and that was the beginning of the end lol. Everyone kept saying I looked green ( never been called green before). So after sitting down a few i went back into my pt room and wouldnt you know i almost passed out yup right there in front of my pt mom. I guess the one thing i had going for me is that when everything started going black i excused myself and ran out to the md charting area and layed out on the floor, YES you heard me right i was laying on the gross hospital floor. so if that doesnt tell you how bad I felt I dont know what will.

After that we all decided that Joey should come get me and maybe I should take a trip down to our ed to get some fluids sonce i hadnt been able to keep anything down all day. Well in order to go to ed you have to call a Dr. Guest and lets just say everyone came running haha. I felt so bad. But they rolled me down and after a few hrs of fluids i was feeling a bit better. But can i just say those wonderful fluids cost me 200.00!!!! What I guess its a good thing i didnt know that before hand bc i would have politely refused and went home to suffer but seriously you almost fall out at work and you still have to pay geez!!

Today I am feeling a little better. Im still slighty dizzy and my tummy is going crazy but NO throwing up so I can totally handle the rest. I do feel bad my sis is totally dealing with this bug now. Well thats about as exciting as it gets around here so I am gonna go be lazy ( who am I kidding I am totally in bed right now). Hope everyone has a great day and steer clear from the tummy bug!

I own this skirt in black and it is awesome!

so there is the bathing suit run down. Ive had a few, Ive bought a few and I must own a few, while the jury is still out on some. I would love to know what you think or if you have any suggestions. My goal was to get into an actual 2 pc. but im not thinking the c section skin is gonna allow for that this trip BUT we got to florida every summer so maybe by then I will be 2 pc ready?

A little more meaningful...

Ok so I feel like I havent really posted anything real " earth moving" lately. Most of my posts have been all fluffy just to take up space, bc frankly I have been a little overwhelmed with those things that are often out of my control ( and not blogged about). I feel like things are slowing down a bit and I really miss blogging so I am going to do my best to get back in the swing of things and make this a kick @*$ blog you know like the ones you actually wanna stalk, I mean read. So although there are no pics to go with this post ( sorry I am at work) I wanted to get some random things jotted down.

First....I dont think I have mentioned anything about my " get skinny" workout mission lately. WELL I joined the gym on january 11th and have been going pretty much every day, the weekends are a where I slack but give me a break I work all night fri and sunday so getting buff falls way behind catching up on sleep and we all know how much i like my sleep! Any how I am about a month and a half in amd I am proud to say that I have lost 11 POUNDS. Starting wt was 171-172 current wt is 160-161! On an even more awesome note this means I have officially lost ALL of my baby wt from Will! and I do believe my exact words to Joey were that we "could start trying for baby number 2 when I lost the baby number 1 wt " so who knows what will happen in the near future???????? But I guess you will have to stay tuned for that.

I am also super excited that in just over a month I will be vacationing in the Dominican Republic with a couple of besties and my wonderful hubby! There are a couple of besties I wish were coming with ( i.e Sandra & Rachel) but I know all in all that it will be a blast ( once I get over the leaving Will for the first time thing UGH not looking forward to the plane ride there Im sure there will be tears)

Ive got a lot on my mind right now as far as work. Word on the street is that there are lots of positions opening up. Unfortunately I have gotten use to the night weekend pay and schedule ( 2 days of work a week) the hubs would love to see me go back to days-and in a way I would like that too but right now the cons out weigh the pros so who knows what I will do. I am just gonna keep praying about it and hopefully the right decision will make itself known!

And lastly and on a more serious note I would like to ask everyone ( or should I say anyone) who reads this blog to please send some BIG PRAYERS up for a little lady named Lucy and her family. I dont know Lucy personally but her Aunt was my college roomie/sorority sis and she had surgery today to remove brain and spine tumors,I dont know details ( nor would I want to post business that is really not mine to share) but I just ask that everyone say a prayer for this sweet girl and her family bc I cant even begin to imagine what they are going through. I talked with another sorotiy sis and I am going to attempt to make a blog button for her and if I am successful I will post it on here for all my blog friends to post to their wall and hopefully we can gain tons of prayer warriors for LUCY!

Just a quick pic post to show all the fun we had this weekend. The weather was fabulous and it makes long for spring time. This week its cold and rainy...boo! But that just allows me to catch up on everything I didnt do last week bc of the beautiful weather :)

Lots to blog about!

We got a new car last friday! It was kind of a spur of the moment thing ( Random Cassie Fact: I kinda maybe have a teeny tiny car problem...as in i get a new one -or new to me-every few years. I had the yukon for 3 whole years -a record for me- and we were talking about getting a new one and then we started looking at the used car options at Joeys work and I fell in love with this beauty! It didnt help that Joey planted the seed he sent me a picture of it and said and I quote " I thought you might like this" sooo I can totally blame this investment on him right?! Ha well over all it wasnt a completely stupid purchase on our part. It is a year newer had a few thousand miles less the mine, the monthly payment is lower and the gas mileage is AMAZING I am definitely not missing the 14 mpg now that I am gettign around 24 mpg! I am totally in love with my new car. The stroller fits in the back and Will has a TON of room in the backseat and since I no longer have captains chairs when I get him out of the car seat he likes to run around the back row! There are lots of other pros and I havent really discovered any cons yet so I think we are good to go :)
Then this weekend was just gorgeous and even though I had to work sat and sunday night we decided to enjoy the weather. While I walked Joey strolled Will around on his bike and our new attachment. Will LOVED it I definitely see lots of this in our future :)

I think that is about it. Oh we did get to head out for a last minute Valentines Dinner. It was actually quite funny My sis came over last minute to watch Will and i got ready Once Joey got home he changed and we headed out. I doubted we would get in anywhere esp since I called quite a few places and they were full. But we went out anyway. I had actually called circa and they said they had bar tables that were first come first serve so we stopped by there first. I walked in to check out the table situation and quickly left. Lets just say we werent dressed properly haha Maybe it was bc it was an older crowd but i saw suits and dresses everywhere and we werent dressed down but we definitely didnt get the dress to the nines on vday memo :) So we decided to try elsewhere, we ended up at Sharkys and it was AMAZING by far the best seafood pasta I have ever eaten. Im glad we got a night out just me and joey, Its getting me excited about our upcoming dominican trip, I am sad we will be leaving Will but I am glad we will have some time for us bc anyone with children knows that alone time goes out the window ( but i wouldnt have it any other way)

The Joy of Love Days 4-10...a little catching up to do :)

Day 4: What the wear

Will wears everything and well basically anything I put him in. Over the past year and 3/4 ( almost 2 wow!) I have preferred the fru fru stuff but now that his is getting bigger his wardrobe is looking more like a teenagers...tear. But I mean really there comes a time when the smocked stuff has got to go ( dont get me wrong if i find cute stuff this summer then so be it but I am slowly weeding it out)

Day 5: Love to Hate
I love how he can play with everything and he is always keeping himself busy BUT the mess that is left behind is definitely something I love to hate. Atleast right now it is easy to clean!

(day 6 & 7 got turned around) Day 7: Generations

All my family pics seem to be not on my comp anymore so i just put this 4 leaf clover to represent how lucky Will is to have such a large and extended family that is very close. Although he doesnt seem them often it is always fun whenever he does see the rest of the family.

Day 6: Who they Love

Will is obsessed with his Daddy. I would like to say he cares about me too but it is all about Daddy whenever he is around!

Day 8: Gift from the heart

Joey got me all my camera and all my wonderful gadgets to go with it. ( Please ignore the pic if you read Little Miss Mommas blog you will see how her cute self takes "self potraits" showing off clothes jewelry etc so I thought Id give it a shot for this....definitely not as cute lol)

Day 9: Passions

Day 10: Where they are comfortable

He loves to lay in his bed and watch movies. As you can see above he curls up on his boppy and life is good.
