Housewarming Fun

My friend Jenny from nursing school had a housewarming party/ birthday party for her soon to be hubby. And well boy oh boy did we take advantage of an oppurtunity to throw down. I havent had that much fun in quite some time. And well you know fun leads to some pretty funny photos. Take a look!

I forgot to mention I am a pro Four-wheeler now...hehe

Yes I must brag at my new mad skills....HA I looked more like a fish out of water! Me on a four wheeler. I know I couldnt ever imagine that image either until a few weeks ago when I broke down and said sure why not? I have to admit it was lots more fun than I thought would be. Joey even let me drive (is he crazy???) I didnt wreck though, infact I drove straight through the mud. Who knew getting dirty could be so much fun!

Nothing left to do but blog...

Well the past few days have been rough. I hope that no one I know ever has to go through the joy of getting the "stomach bug" that is going around because my friends...it is horrible! It all started Sunday night, it was my wonderful Mother's birthday and she cooked for us (now that just doesnt sound right does it?) Well not long after dinner was over the torture began and it lasted until well pretty much today:( The most terrible thing about it is that I had to miss my clinicals yesterday. Now one might think that getting to miss a nursing school clinical would be the highlight of one's week but not for me. See I was going to surgery this week, and I have wanted more than life itself to see a heart surgery!! But dont feel sorry for me yet because my wonderful instructor was able to reschedule a day in the OR for me and yes ladies and gentlemen I got to see heart surgery today!!!!! It was amazing, to see the doctors stop the heart to make incisions, putting the patient on the bypass machine where they blood is kept pumping while the heart is stopped and then "shocking" it back to life so to speak. Sitting there watching a heart beat in a persons chest was just the most wonderufl thing I have ever seen.

Its Official I am a Bousson!

Well I am not as good at this blog thing as I am with the usual websites I visit (facebook and myspace) but thats ok because I have finally made a second post! It has been some time and since the last post a lot has changed!!! I am now a Bousson. Joey and I were married on August 18th and despite almost everything going completely wrong it still turned out to be the most perfect day of our lives. ( And to my disagreement I am actually the only one who was stressing out because of the rain and such no one else seemed to mind.) After our wedding we headed out bright and early sunday morning for a wonderful much needed honeymoon to Cabo. Despite the threat of Dean we had an amazing time with NO RAIN! We were not ready to come home and seriously thought about "missing" our flight. We met the most awesome people down there and pretty much everyone got married along with us on the 18th. Kristi and Josh were the cutest funniest couple we met down there and had a blast partying every day in the pool. The best night was our last night when the four of us had 5 bottles of champagne and lived to tell the tale..hehe. Overall the past month has been a whirlwind of good times. And we will have much more fun stories to come :)

What exactly is a blog?

So if you couldnt tell I am new to this "blog" thing. I'm a facebooker with the occassional myspace. I have lots of free time at work most days and tend to browse other blogs and it just looked like fun so here goes! Well I made this site for me and my wonderful fiance Joey we are getting married a month from today! We just recently bought a house in East Memphis. Its older but has lots a potential for an extreme makeover! Joey sells Hummers for a living and I am on my way to becoming a nurse. So if you need a new ride call Joey if you need life saving techniques run (Ha ha)! After the wedding countdown ends the graduation countdown will begin :) We have two adorable babies Sam and Jake. They are weiners...(weiner dogs that is). Were just one big happy family you could say. On an even better note I got a new car yesterday and I absolutely LOVE it. It is a silver G6 convertible. It has a hard top and when you put it down it looks like a spaceship...so fun (that is it up above) Well I guess for a first blog this will be enough. Tootles for now!
